>>>>>ANd my children are so often embarrassed by and for me<<<<< Let's see, there was the time in the Black-Eyed Pea, when the kids were screaming and carrying on, and I couldn't get them to behave, that I started shrieking maniacally(sp?) to show them how they were acting, only much louder than I intended, and everyone in the restaurant stared, and the kids actually shrank down into their seats, they were so embarrassed. They refused to ever go back to that restaurant. I think it was actually a learning experience for them, it seemed to have a maturing effect.
