You may be right. I can only think of four Republicans -- Jeffords, Chafee, Collins and Snowe -- who might vote to acquit Clinton. And if they vote to acquit him, one of the things they'll have to do to justify their vote is to point out that they DID vote for witnesses and DID vote to NOT dismiss the trial prematurely. Yes, the prospects for the circus to continue are looking pretty good. I just hope we get on to the next stage soon...
