Hey Toy et al!

If you want to brush up alittle on XML, check this site:

w3c.org -- World Wide Web Consortium

They have plenty of info in their XML area -- w3.org

From this website you can see the timeline for XML which began life in November '96. Also, XML is very closely related to SGML which is the long standing standard in graphic & presentation software. It's also the model for HTML too.

Here's some other interesting links to software that uses the underlying SGML and the newer sub-set of XML:

Somehow I think we've miss most of the applications that are far beyond the consumer market and lie someplace between institutional software (medical/science/business apps) and custom commerical apps.

There's more to the software industry than home users with their PCs.
