I fully agree with your opinions of
the Slicksters. I have a funny feeling
that the reason they cling to power is
not because they feel they can accomplish
anything more at this point, but rather
because there are those two indictments
sitting in a Little Rock Courthouse with
their names on them. Once out of power,
Bill and Hillary are going to have a
major courtroom battle to prevent them-
selves from ending up like the McDougals.
They both face charges of graft and tax
evasion. Hillary could also face some
additional charges related to her work
for the "Castle Grande" real estate deal.
For them, the battle is just begining and
the only thing they have going for them
is that the indictments will not be unsealed
until the day after Bill Clinton is out of
office.
