lots and lots of compliments abound about Steve Goldman..who is a broker/lawyer

and I have yet to see anyone say that they did NOT pick up their phone within two rings..which is what they promise
he also has a good site with lots of stuff up and does a daily email service

but I am not with them either but I do get their daily email

Yamner was also recommended to me by two separate sources as a great short trader's brokerage (their clearing house specializes in that). I think I am going to start a secondary account. Also, the manager of their trading department is the tireless Steve Goldman who holds down the SI thread From the Trading Desk:

You have to use the phone for orders and the commissions are on the high side but, hey, if they can regularly get the shares when needed that's OK with me. I'm batting something like 50% with Schwab.
