I think the other factor weighing on the stock is the very little guidance that they gave on the conference call regarding the acquisition. They would not specify the price, whether the acquired unit had tangible revenue or what the affect would be on earnings. As such, analysts were left guessing and they decided to be conservative. Cube claimed it was for competitive reasons that they would not specify these items, but it has left the street guessing and the street does not like to guess. Once again, investor relations could be improved. The good news is that long-term the acquisition sounded very strategic with complimentary products that are not replicable by competition due to patent protection.
