Actually Ron I think that those old labels don't cut it any more - Clinton has acted like a Republican in many ways - one of the reasons they despise him - he cleaned the floor with them in the last Congress by usurping many of their initiatives. The key to success these days in most countries (witnsess Tony Blair) is the politics of the center. My guess is that a successful candidate in the next presidential race will have to be from the center - from either party. dd
