" The Feb'99 Max-Pain Pointâ„¢ for INTC is $130. "

Ben,

Do you have any evidence that this is of value ? Even excusing the January expiration which missed by over 7 strike prices, the December missed by 3 strike prices and the November missed by 4 1/2 strike prices.

On the other hand, I have also been a fan of arcane statistics that don't make you any money.

I will guess that Intel's price will be $150 at Feb expiration (the center of the current price channel). I think I'll be closer than you.

Best Trading,
X

Based on today's (1/27/99) CBOE data, I recalculated the Feb'99 Max-Pain Points&#153 and I updated the Max-Pain&#153 Option Analysis Study graphs.

The Feb'99 Max-Pain Point&#153 for INTC is holding at $130. The current prince is $132 29/32.
