Mike H. I agree with Taylorm. Wait till Monday. Look, the ghouls are gathering. Ugly suckers aren't they? I don't know if this is for real or not. I know that AMF was on it like a fly on shit. I know that whoever is doing this has set it up deliberately to do maximum damage. Let's suppose for a moment that the post was real. Some other operator could be offering Gun Lake massive sums to sign a deal with them, provided of course, that Sungold disappears. Well Sungold isn't going to disappear. The company will get a major portion of any casino that Gun Lake develops. Sungold has one of the best lawyers in Michigan. If negotiations have to get down and dirty, then so be it. I predict that the Band will see in time the value of keeping negotiations private. On the other hand, this could all be some bogus crap constructed by someone like AMF (A Mother F****r?), in which case, the company and the Band will go on with business and usual. ......... Sungold's contract with the Band is through to completion and operation, and it requires adjustments at certain times, like when the Band is recognized. The existing contract is with the 'Band', not the Tribal Nation. The Band is an entity which pre-exists the federally recognized tribe. BTW, Gun Lake is not yet officially recognized, since the effective date has not yet been acknowledged.
