If you live your life and base reality on a steady series of "what ifs?" then you are not observing reality very well. A "what if?" is only valid if you test it to determine whether your hypothesis is true or not. What you are proposing is building a personal morality based on assumptions or leaps of faith which may or may not be true. Gee, what if that solid brick wall is really cotton candy? Think I'll slam this fiberglass Corvette into it at 165 MPH because that's what I assume the wall is made of... FT
