IJNT TNO SGDE Picks and why: IJNT: Had 2 PR's this week, first this wireless ISP is teaming up with Exodus, and second one said they are forming an immediate new subsidiary which they intend to operate as a facilities-based and reseller Competitive Local Exchange Carrier (CLEC). The new company will be named UrJet Backbone Network (UBN), Inc. Low Float, around 3 million shares. Had a run to 12 last year, low is around 2.50. Bounced up this week on light volume. Had booth at MacExpo99, and IR says they intend to be Nasdaq by mid-year (we will of course see). This company imo makes for a compelling investment. They use Apple Computers :) and operate the latest technology, including all digital modems, a direct T3 connection to the largest Internet backbone provider (UUNET), and all brand name equipment and software. The company is currently operating in four markets and with aggressive expansion plans. Start here and explore, you have all weekend! ijnt.com TNO: First week in Feb they will have an IPO of their MMPT. Could be another type of MALL, DBCC, and upcoming NAVR type play. TNO moved up today. Link is for Hoovers IPO info. Could we see $35-$40 the week of the IPO for TNO? Appointed Janine Shovein as Company Vice President who has been instrumental in the Company's Internet initiatives since April of 1998 when The Sportsman's Guide's web site began operating. Tray; on TPEG; 52 wk. range .19 - 2.50/1.1M shares traded Fri./loss of .46 last year/chart looks good since Nov. 98' with "double-bottom" spring-boarding TPEG from .19 to 1.88 (Fri. close + .55). News on 1/20/99 announced major restructuring/14 employees/9/98' revenues fell 93% to 304K with net loss of 1.1M vs. income year prior of 314K net profit. Television,film production & distribution.
