The TBR dividend was a basket of confusion last year also. FWIW, here's a link to a post from 03/27/98 that came from TBR IR on the subject, but of course this was before all of the telecom assets were spun off... Message 3862597 This story came across Dow Jones the other day... Message 7379522 I did not pursue it. I'm not sure this even refers to TBR. Did anyone write TBR IR from their website, or call the old US TBR agent in New York? Just to show you how confused some of the press seems to be, this is what comes up from the WSJ briefing book when you type in "Telecom Brasil" in their briefing book section...
