[[You going with Val?]] No, I didn't - I don't think Val is into weirdness the way I am! Hellbound Hayride was pretty entertaining and performed 2 sets. Of course, some of their material would have offended people here, like the song the singer introduced by saying, "This song is about inbreeding!" The bar was a dive (next to a scrap dealer), the kind of place where you tend to hear good bands that aren't well known yet (like the Hayride), or garage bands that suck. I think the real thrill seekers were the people eating the bar's cooking, despite a prominently posted sign from the LA County Health Dept., giving the place a "C" grade!
