Hmmmmmm..so you don't know what the rules are in CA and any statement that he violated them would be pure conjecture

so if he were practicing in NY..which rule number and section would he have broken????

edit..oh I looked at your message again..i see you have posted a rule

which subsection are you indicating would be a violation IF their rules are similiar ..which of course you admit you have no knowledge as to whether they are or are not similiar or exact as the rules of New York.

and of course rules such as this if it were worded exactly the same

for example

"Conceal or knowingly fail to disclose that which the lawyer is required by law to reveal"

would be dependent on the law in CA...and you would have to know the law in CA to know if he would fail to disclose
