Thanx ; and that sounds about the way I thought it should, or
would be, if they let investors buy funds on margin it seems it would
have the same effect of the fund going on margin, but then again
if your useing the fund as a collectable, and a down turn
hits and you prefer to keep stock, you could sell the fund anyway.

I'm sure you can use your cash buying power to buy mutual funds at the very least. I. e., if I have $100,000 of IBM, I could borrow $50k to buy anything I liked.
