Tray, I looked at your posts, where you've been posting them, and the responses you've been getting. All I can do is give you my opinion and my interpretation of what is and is not ok on SI... First, consider it a no-no to hit specific stock threads with posts touting another stock. Since joining SI a few days ago, you've posted on TPEG on the BAMM, AMEN, MBTI, IMON, KANA and AWEB threads, not mention other miscellaneous generic threads. This hurts your credibility, and you'll be accused of being a paid tout. . If you have a new stock you want people to notice, create a thread for it (if there isn't one already), and then hit the generic threads that it seems to fit with. When you post on those threads, give a little information on the stock, and if you created a new thread for it, provide a link to it. Don't just say "It's going to fly!!!!!" That's pure hype, and people will likely slap you. Once you've mentioned a stock on a generic thread, don't keep posting about it there unless you have more information to provide or someone is asking you questions. Sometimes people will engage in dialogs on these threads (like this one), but that's ok as long as it's not just pure hype and provides some type of information. On the stock's own thread, you have more flexibility to say whatever you want. If you do post something off topic though, put *** Off Topic *** or OT at the top of the post to indicate you're not going to be talking something related to the stock. But sometimes that's not even necessary since you get to know people on the thread and you might all start BSing about something else. As far as TPEG goes, it looks like pure hype to me. If you look at that release they just made, it seems to me they threw "Internet" into the title of the release just to get "Internet effect." All they're talking about is maybe buying Internet and e-commerce related companies, and that's not even what the bulk of the release is about. In my opinion, there's nothing substantial here. It doesn't mean the stock might not run since it's getting hyped, but it'll likely be short-lived IMO. They'd have to actually announce the acquisition of an Inet company to sustain the stock's momentum. As for what I'm following, the list is long. I play all different kinds of stocks for different purposes. I've been in and out of a lot of Internet plays. The ones I'm still in with at least partial holdings now are SFLK, TODY, TRIP, NETD, WCTI, MBTI, PRFM, and CYCH. Some are longer term holds in my mind, while I think PRFM is going to pop higher with the opening of the website on 2/1. SFLK is also looking real good both near-term and long term right now. With several of these stocks, I'm riding "free shares." I've sold enough to to get out my initial principle, and I'm letting the rest ride. I also hold a bunch of microcaps that I consider to be eggs. You just have to patiently sit on them and wait for them to hatch. But if you've got good eggs, those chickens will feed you for a good long time. Some of the eggs I'm sitting on are HGRM, VETX, PCTR, WLTK and BITI. HGRM has already popped substantially from my entry point of 3/8ths, but I'm holding onto about 1/2 my original shares for more. PCTR is still in its infancy and is my largest holding. Told you more than you wanted to know, didn't I? LOL!
