Richard Karpel, I doubt that WIND conveyed any bad news to the
analyst. The analyst said as much in the Dow Jones news article.
I'm sure WIND's management wasn't expecting a stock sell-off today.
Given that there was a general sell-off today, it probably took them
a while to figure out what the heck was happening to their stock.

WIND's response to the sell-off was published to clarify the situation.
Someone had to drop whatever they were planning to do today,to
collect the information and write it up. It takes time to get a press
release written and approved for publication.

What you saw today was a blind stampede for the exits.
It happens. Get used to it and you can make money.
