talking about #'s, before i leave, here are some #'s to think about.

in 2003 the world dram business is projected at $135B+. assume intel maintains 83% market share and only supports rdram as they say they will. assume royalties at lowest figure we have heard from rambus ceo,1.7%. reasonable assumptions imo. just trying to be realistic here.

135B x 83% x 1.7% = $1,904,850,000 revenues for rambus.

use rambus cfo's estimate of 40% net and 25,000,000 outstanding shares.

i get $30.48 in earnings per share for "rdram revenues only". oh yes, they will have to pay royalties for those other uses of rmbs technology, but let's just keep that in reserve for now. pick your own pe. be realistic though. me? i like pe 50. none of that unrealistic, aol like, high pe stuff for me.
