AT&T has talked to MSFT about buying MSN's dialup service and ATHM has been talking to AT&T about buying WorldNet. Nobody seems to have commented yet on what happens if you put these two news reports together: ATHM could conceivably add MSN's 2 million+ and AT&T's 2 million+ distinct users to ATHM's subscriber rolls. Together, this would make a third of AOL's numbers right there.

Exactly! This is a new and very strategic business direction, if it takes form ... buy as many subscribers as possible and move broadband service under them later.

I just started this new game, Settlers. Empire building stuff. If you build a Large Temple, it produces Priests ... the Priests can cast the Convert Barbarians spell to "capture" workers from other empires.

ATHM is casting the Convert Barbarians spell ...
