I also noticed that although the OSX was up a little over 2% for the
week, most of the stocks that I follow were down slightly. The big
winner for the week was RON(up over 9%), followed by NE, GLM
and SLB. Since RON and SLB together comprise just over 25%
of the OSX index, its no surprise that it is positive for the week.
Its looks like most of the large blue chip companies held up very
well this week, while the rest lost a little ground. If there is some
buying by the funds, they are starting with the big guys.
