Playstar's Antigua Casino & Sportsbook has been accepting wagers since Dec.7/98. Yes, they are operating out of Antigua.

Senator Jon Kyl got a bill passed to make Internet Gambling illegal for U.S. citizens and casino operators. The bill has been tabled for now. The general feeling is that the bill will be dealt with this summer and that it would be impossible to enforce if passed into law. Keep in mind that I-Gaming is huge world wide, Americans are NOT the largest per capita gamblers.

Personally, I don't think the bill will get passed. The government couldn't pass the Communications Decency Act which dealt with pornography so I can't see why this would get passed. I'm not American so it's harder for me to say but I believe that the bill infringes on your freedoms and is un-constitutional.

I invite all of you to exercise your rights by spending 60 seconds to let the government know how you feel: capweb.net (Choose the 'Freedom of the Internet' option).
