mile, intel is the key. if they go rmbs , the world goes rmbs. with 83% of the mrkt it can't be any other way. Re: cautious bull. how can you be cautious on a stock with a 280 PE? you either beleive or not. i believe totally or i would not own this stock. keep up the great post. you are right about interppetations of these articles, they can go either way. i think rimms are a stop gap- i ain't got the money to ramp up to rmbs - measure. the semi-manus that do not ramp up rmbs are in deep trouble. it's kinda like my boat. my diesel was a $20,000 option, almost doubling the cost of my boat, but it was the only way to fly. ps. my son- in-law sells air craft of all types all over the world. he's in denmark right now to close on a turbo prop.(he was cessna"s european rep. till last year when he moved to usa.) you must know the only way to move rmbs short term is to get good publicity, prefabably on cnbc. how is the problem because intc doesn't want early releases on new chips. oh well, life is a gamble. rocky

Hi Mile

"I am betting on RDRAM and Intels marketing expertise, but realistically, RDRAM market dominance is far from "being a done deal"

Of course it's not a done deal.
The underlying battle here (as always), is market share. INTC with 83% has everything to loose. With all the INTC opponents wandering to the 133-SDRAM camp, INTC is bound to loose market share short term. If RDRAM production cannot ramp fast enough, intel's marketing dept is bound to call for the 133 as a short term fix. This would mean a further delay for RMBS
