Not hate mail, don't worry.

If the statement,<<Then, there is a little bit of debt. So you end up with an enterprise value of about $70>>, in your post means that there is a per share value of $70, then CMG should trade at $70 if the price to book is 1.

LOL. How many tech stocks trade at P:B of 1? Am I understanding that statement correctly?

Thank you for the post. I think there are several ways of looking at the same data - how an individual values that data determines his/her comfort with a stock price. How the market values the data is supposed to determine the market price. Based on what you have posted, despite the potential intent of the speaker, I interpret that CMG is not overvalued at all, especially in comparison with the rest of the market, not to mention the sector.

Thoughts from others?

lin, I read hat article yesterday on the newstand and I came away from it thinking the guy was plugging CMGI. He still likes CMGI and AOL. There is another paragraph I believe where he says something to the effect that CMGI deserves a premium to those numbers ($81/sh) because of past performance etc. I'm going back to the newstand today and re-read it since I don't have an online subscription.
