Hi Techy,
So as long as the gov't doesn't try to make MSFT lower prices then we're OK? If so I think that's great. I paid retail to upgrade to Win98 a month or so ago and just love it. I don't think $89 was too much to pay for the OS on the PC that I use to run my small business surf the net and trade stocks. It's peanuts considering how important having this PC up and running 24x7 is to me.

Re: buying stocks in March. I'm going to be selling stocks in Mar because I have a HUGE capital gains tax due Apr 15. I hope you're right though, as I'd hate to be selling into a down market. Whatever happened to the "Jan effect"? I thought Jan-Feb were supposed to be the best months of the year due to all the retirement and year end bonus $$ coming into the market. Any idea what's going on? normal profit taking or something scary? Regards,Lee
