Always nice to be able to write / talk / make "expert" analysis during the pregame days and then post game week. One only needs to put up some money and witll either become a winner or loser by next Sunday night. At that time, one group of fans will celebrate and gloat. The other will moan and groan. Just the nature of being a fanatic. A few will root for one team and may put his money on the other, or put it on other aspects of the game. I am leaning to play the lines by quarters and at halftime, and the over/unders. More excitement throughout the game. For me, it's so much more fun watching the game with a little something riding on it. Often, one or two dumb plays ruin everything. Nevertheless, I'll be enjoying the game with a few brews and snacks.

All, ESPN's website has a nice, free, over/under contest for the SB. 15 categories. Winner has a shot at a new 31" tv. I have created a public group, so if you join, be sure to add your entry to the group. The group name is, appropriately enough, "Ravens in '99" <G>. If interested, click the link, scroll down to Contests, click 'SuperBowl Over/Under Game'. Remember to join my Ravens group. My entry is "GB Ravens". espn.go.com <edit> **CAUTION: a healthy number of the over/under lines are zany... things like '# of shots of atlanta players doing the dirty bird'.. so the game might not appeal to the hard-core types... I found the lines to be fun. Laron
