If you go to site internet.com , you may see a banner ad running from IBM advertising their data switches, sold via their E-Business division. I have started to see these pop up more and more recently. If even only a few upper level IBMers think that "the network is the computer" (and it is), I doubt they will sit on their hands, and just cede this area.
