Comparision between GNET and CMGI

CMGI has a very successful business model. They invest in emerging web business and later on bring them to public when the company is ripe for it. First they spunoff Lycos (LCOS) and thereafter Geocities (GCTY). CMGI buys entirely somewhat unknown web company with hot internet technology, nurtures it and then after making it more and more popular; successfully does an IPO and makes windfall income out of it.
GNET has followed the same steps as CMGI but I am not sure that is what the management's goal is! They first acquired this Silicon Investor, thereafter Web Hosting company Hypermart and latest addition is Internet Statistics company 100Hot. All of them a very niche and nice investment. I personally like GNET's strategy because they are not just web search company. They are now Diversified Internet company with variety of businesses and different markets targeted. I personally feel GNET should consider adding company named NETTAXI (NTXY) which is #28 on 100Hot ranking. Few reasons why addition of company like NetTaxi would add value to GNET:
1) NetTaxi has huge popularity (As seen from its ranking on 100Hot)
2) By having such addition GNET could in a shorttime reach some of its goals of increasing number of visitors and views.
3) By doing that GNET would perhaps put itself amongst first 10 most visited spot.
4) Nettaxi is directly competing with Geocities, Globe and Xoom; so having it could certainly add visibility and popularity amongst different crowd that Nettaxi has currently.
5) Acquiring NetTaxi should not be too costly and makes sense.
6) GNET management if they ever decide to follow the same model as CMGI then they could spun off Silicon Investor, 100Hot, Hypermart and simultaneously keep investing in other new emerging companies with hot internet technolgies and successfully make huge profits as CMGI.

By having controlling stakes GNET stock should do just well as CMGI.

Just my views, I am hoping that management has solid plans for taking this hot and emerging company into 21st century and rewarding its investors with windfall income.
