Check out the following:

Here you will see Microsoft reporting how ESOPS impact their bottom line. Basically it takes about % off, or inversely, the PE would be 8% higher. I know Microsoft uses stock options aggressively, so I assume (might be a jump) that NASDAQ would be impacted by a similar amount.
