. . . The waiting is over . . .

Below is a list of picks and a brief synopsis. This list is in addition to our "regulars" and is for the purpose of discussion. I am posting them now so that none of you can run out and buy them and you will have plenty of time to do your OWN DD and to discuss them here with the many wonderful people willing to help.

I should charge for this page. But these are given out at no charge. There are newsletters that charge handsomely for this type of service. . .[For the record, I am trying to make a living via trading and later advising. But with the tiny amount of cash I started with, it will be a long time before I will be able to make a living with either. . .while my portfolio doubles quickly. . .it is never often enough.]

Please let me know how HOME picks are doing for you. And please alert me when there is activity brewing in any of my picks, so I can buy some, too. So many stocks...so little margin left.

Not in any particular order. . .

HIGH-TECHS with more than just a good idea:

IOM - try catching on the rebound...careful .. typically heavily shorted and no news expected for quite some time...may bottom several times and heavy float makes it move really slow. . . only for those with LOTS of patience. Products and long term future look great.

OSFT - First determine when and if they will be doing the internet phone booth idea. Each time they anounce this. . it seems to run. . .look for heavy buying dips, then sell on news.

BDE - Now an internet. Recent deal with At Home network, yet still has not run much yet. True Amex sleeper.

LOW PRICED I-NET...NOT MUCH HYPE YET:

RRRR - Now design websites. . .momentum increasing. . .just hired some newsletters, if I read thru the new hype correctly.

SEVL - Daytraded from 2 to 15 in April. Often moves from high 2s to low 5s in a short time period.

HIGHER PRICED great companies that just happen to be adding Inet sales, yet have not yet seen a spike in price.

SGDE - Still undiscovered. [S.A.M.]

IBI - Could be the most natural e-commerce products. Guys too shy to buy in store and gals too self-conscious. . .both now have a way to partake. When you think of it, these guys could sell big advertising by just publishing their photos. "Sorry, boss. . .I was just shopping for my wife's birth, er...anniver. . uh er. . .Valentines Day."

MISCELLANEOUS:

PVII - Place digitally composited TV ads into live sporting events in places where there are no ads. Great to buy low and sell each time it gets news. Really fun stock that could someday sign a MAJOR deal.
May require patience.

APII - The consummate undervalued gem. I don't know what will ever drive it, except maybe enough position traders to gobble the float.

WMB - A natural gas company turned communications that plans to stick fibre lines into their existing gas lines. Pretty smart, huh? That's nothing. Read their latest news on what they will be doing next Sunday when we will all be eating nachos and drinking beer in front of our television sets. We missed it under 30, but could find legs this week.

TGNT- Another communications company, this one full service... that is focused on high bandwidth internet [our baby]. . .still mostly undiscovered. Like ARTT only more diversified. Many new awards and a noticeable increase in recent press releases. Best of all...a low float.

T- Just look at their new ad campaign. What happens on Jan 31? Look at their TCI cable deal. Look at their broadband plans. Look at their chart. Favorite way to buy on the cheap is thru TCOMB. Worth .85 shares of T on merger completion [according to press release], yet selling at a discount...dust off the ol' calculator and see what I mean.

NEW LONG TERMERS:

VO - Just fired a huge amount of dead weight. . .Decca Records artists and employees. . .shortly after buying one of the largest record companies in the world. . . MCA. . .making U.M.G. the worlds largest record company. They are all over entertainmet biz and the only thing flowing faster than their Canadian blended is their U.S. greenbacks.

JCP - An undervalued retailer sitting near its 52 low and still has not committed to an Inet plan . . .time will tell.

DIS - Sure they lose money in overseas amusements...but those can be scaled down as needed with "closed for remodeling" signs. . . the near-term impact is putting Mickey's store online, not to mention "GO" with SEEK. They are a major retailer in shopping malls. . .they should do even better selling direct. III has not noticed Mickey's potential and Wall Street is just now noticing.

FDX - For 401k plans, due to expected 20pct growth per yr over next 10 years.

For those on the DARK SIDE OF THE MARKET. . .

I don't need to mention the most recent obvious short plays. Just count up the number of mentions and short the winners. . . I actually know some people that have made money with that method. Here are the short potential winners of the week. . .thanks to all that brought them to my attention.

SHORT SELLS:
WINR - Pronounced "Whiner" sold for just .40 cents several months ago, Friday this OTC hit 2.90. A non-reporting lip smacker from Florida. Info is hard to come by. . .financials are impossible.
I would love 10k short shares to hold for just one year . . .I bet I'd be covering at under a hundred bucks.

GUMM - Another obvious natural short sell. Perhaps the most hyped stock on SI right now...has recently doubled on little more than hype. Recent press releases also full of fluff. Now many on SI will get sucked in like a vacuum, so I would watch for 15 before acting.

This is enough fuel to get some serious discussion going here at HOME while markets rest. . .and I take the wife to hear some of Nashville's rising stars.

Remember to plan your work and work your plan. . .and send me cash [jk].
