close to me there are small operating beryl outfits, they do find nice ones here and there, with topaz, tourmaline, citrine, ametys and common quartz..

never been lucky there, most are in Maine near a palce called Paris !!

some nuggets there if a guy stumbles on a pleo channel..

forgot.. most these eastern deposits are run as pay for dig...

for shure IMO in the recent water ways of the good places in the NWT a guy could get extremely lucky operating a sluice box..
