You do sound strong in your feelings. I talked with a doctor a couple of months ago who treats people with foot problems due to diabetes. He sees a lot and his recommendation before this hit the fan "the drug should be taken off the market". His feeling "this is a very dangerous drug". How many people have been injured but not died as a result of the drug? We don't know how many developed other complications, if any. Another friend of mine mentioned that Lipitor is so successful that cardiologist are recommending it for elderly. They see dramatic results in people even older than 80. Problem is most general Partice doctors have a feeling they are old, leave them alone. What ever happened to quality of life issues with these folks. John
