NAVR's earnings tomorrow

I just posted this on NAVR's yahoo message board.

If I recall correctly in past quarters NAVR's earnings reflected the NetRadio earnings losses. My prediction is that NAVR's earnings for the 4th quarter will still be reflective of NetRadio's losses. However, the losses will probably be less than the comparison quarter last year and probably less than the 3rd quarter this year. The NetRadio losses will probably be less than previously because of the strong revenue NetRadio perhaps achieved during the holiday season with their CDpoint selling CDs via e-commerce as well as more hits on their website because of increased internet users. If so, less negative earnings is a positive!

Now everbody who knows about the likelihood of a NetRadio spinoff as an IPO, thereby making NetRadio a seperate corporate entity despite the 50 or 80% NAVR will still own after the IPO, will find this less negative earnings news as a positive! Just like any other net company, for example Amazon.com and Broadcast.com, earnings have not yet drastically affected the interest in their stock and stock price valuations. The earnings did not affect their IPO prices either. Stock prices have been more than responding to good news in this sector. IPOs are still hot. Look at Allaire on Friday.

Now about an possible IPO announcement with earnings tomorrow; it does not matter. Just the mention of NetRadio in its earnings news tomorrow, if perhaps it is actually losing less money or even making money, will cause plenty of interest in this stock all day long on Tuesday. This sentiment may begin before the market closes on Monday. Less NetRadio losses or even gains will improve the bottom line of NAVR's earnings if NetRadio were spunoff. The stock price could easily gain several points and set for a while in the low 20's or perhaps even see new highs by week's end. I know there are a lot of investors who want in before the earnings report and perhaps an IPO announcement and would prefer to get in one last price dip before the end of trading tomorrow. Sure there might be a dip or there may not. It may gap up and we may never see last Friday's close again.

If there is an IPO announcement with an earnings report look for this stock to begin very strong upside movement on Tuesday to perhaps new highs. I'm very positive of any earning announcement especially if NetRadio performance is mentioned. IMO NAVR will perform well this week.

I am strong long!! : --)
