VALENCE WAS LISTED FIRST OF 3 US "PURE PLAYS" FOR LI POLYMER BY A FINANCIAL MAGAZINE! THE ISSUE WAS JUST RELEASED TODAY! This might be another way of announcing the article. You never know, just the mention of Valence to investors who never heard of them before could generate some interest. Barrons mentioned them several years ago when the stock was in the 20's. There must be something about the company that makes them keep going! Then the MCI/Worldcom chairman joins and buys stock! Maybe he didn't know what the Barrons editor did and was unaware of his forthcoming article! I doubt if the editors took time to listen to the Valence conference calls and ferret information as thoroughly as many who read this thread. The quote from the 10q for the period ending last June was based on old information. Whatever they collected, it helped make a story. As we know, Valence has been deliberately low key as far as releasing positive information, including positive statements to magazine editors.
