Kerry or Anyone:

Does anyone have any idea regarding the number of switches Inrange is likely to sell?

It was my understanding that Inrange was about to call it quits in the Escon Director field, but decided that FC might give them a new angle on the market. Has that proven to be true, or is EMC overwhelmingly dominant?

It seems to me that INRANGE sees opportunities to sell solutions to mainframe customers with Ancor's FC switches now rather than waiting for their own FC based channel director products. Whenever INRANGE comes out with their new FC products with Ancor asics inside, I believe they will also use Ancor FC switches as part of an end to end solution. With Ancor's help, I think INRANGE can compete head to head with McData in this lucrative mainframe channel connectivity business.
