Steve thanks so much for the reply. I read every word and digested it. In a world-wide deflation Brazil is perhaps just another symptom don't you think? It seems to me that lots of Asian markets went down 70%. The Malaysia Fund (MF) Morgan Stanley's "premier" country fund and their first that I was in.... went from 14 5/8 ths to something like 4. So, maybe we're speaking about 80% here, with, of course, the currency kicker helping the decline along. Whew. The next few weeks should tell us all where we are going here so we won't have long to wait. In the meantime I follow your great posts and thanks so much for all the really great and substantial information. You don't take a pro or con position and I appreciate that.
