Thx a lot for the explanation...

I started with Intel, only to be disappointed tremendously in 1997, and then 1998.

I only got in Microsoft in August 1998, BEFORE the correction .. Ha Ha. Also, do not have ENOUGH microsoft stock yet (Only 100 shares)

Cisco, I also only got in August 1998, but have made a good 50% profit on the 1st 150 shares (spli-adjusted) I bought then. I added 50 at 93 and 50 at 104 (underwater).

I am somewhat satisfied with my Cisco position, Ok with my Intel position, unsatisfied with the SIZE of my Microsoft, and would LOVE to own DELL..

Now everybody can say this, but I saw dell as a mover BEFORE the street recognized them, as I was a corporate buyer at that time, and LOVED to buy their boxes...

I was just scared of their P/E and made an enormous mistake not to buy them...

I am now willing to pay as much as needed to get my hands on 2-300 Dell shares.... I did manage this week to OVERPAY for a Dell 2001
LEAP 100 Strike Price, so I am "sorta" the future owner of 100 dell shares, and hopefully can lock in the appreciation of the stock during that time, with less money outlay than buying the whole thing.. i.e $ 85-8300 for 100 shares... I paid $ 2500 for the Leap ($25/share).

I will also try to get another LEAP this week at 23 this time, for another 2001 100 shares at $ 100.

What do you think ?

Take care
Jean

Thx for the good info. Need to buy that book.
