hello lebo- ALA is a company to watch.from what i've read if this wasn't a french company tied to the strange rules that french companies have to adhere to this company would probably fly.they bought a privately held company from spokane wa.called PACKET ENGINES it is run by an electronic genius by the name of Bernard Daines that stayed with the company.a lot of people were waiting for this co. to go public but low and behold ALA bought them.packet engines has agreements with a number of tele-communication companies.Bernard has claimed that he will be the first to produce a Gigabit Ethernet switch that will enable networks to exchange information at 1,000 megabits---or one gigabit----per second. d.austin
