Mike,

Most of the telephone companies were caught off-guard w/ the rate demand for high bandwidth. Their data networks grew expotentially - beyond anyones estimates. RBOCS are VERY interested in continuing to grow this area because of the huge profit margins that it brings. They may have the wire ready in most areas but the central offices either need upgrading or additional switches. I know of one particular city (Jax, Florida) that has trouble on a regular basis w/ the CO being overloaded and there are many more throughout the country just like it. All the telephone companies have this problem and a few have ordered additional equipment beyond the hardware companies ability to deliver in the near future. Backlogged for quite sometime.

Some of the new start-up phone companies can't get equipment to expand because they are so far back on the list.

Trying to help...

Mike, since you're in frontline of network/bandwidth, could you update us time to time with easy to understand languages?

I tried to study xDSL, but as a non engineer (and a dense person), it was difficult to understand.

Let me thank you in advance for your future help.

Jon

Mike,

PAIR

I own PAIR @ 12. Holding to break even and then get out. I bought this company just after they lost their biggest customer. My timing left much to be desired.

I just feel there are other companies out there that I would rather invest in.

If someone wants my shares @ 12, pls PM me. <g>
