Mohan,

My understanding is that Compaq bought everything ITWO had to offer. I think this meant they purchased eBPO. Don't know about other eBPO sales.

Sanjiv spoke about eBPO, about how it really works well with the configure to order type business (like Computers) where optimization of sales based on inventory is needed. He spoke also of going into the front end on web interfaces, sortof an intelligent front end that offers configurations to optimize dealer profit based on current inventory and outlook. Sortof an adaptive front end to take orders. Sanjiv said they don't want to compete in front ends, but that they wanted to build optimization capability to allow other vendors to tie in. This is very "out there" stuff. Don't know if it can be pulled off.
