Karma would be a wonderful concept if all its byproducts were positive, Happy girl. We have discussed this issue before here at Feelings at great length, and some of us concluded that people who believe in karma are limited in their desire or ability to make the world a better place to live, and even that belief in karma is simply a cynical plot by the wealthy to keep the poor revolting against their fate.

Also, a mother who wanted to abort a child because she could not take good care of it, or was raped, doesn't make a very good mother! Ensuring that a child like that, with bad karma from the start, comes into the world, often plays out with the child being abused or neglected. I have an enormous reverence for life, but just believe that quality of life is a factor in the equation.
