Kurt,

It works the way any other stock split transactions do:
the prices and numbers are adjusted proportional to the split.
In your example, 24 pre-split is equivalent to 16 post-split for
a 3-for-2 split. Since 16 is less than 30, the employee gets as
many shares as their contribution will buy at 85% of 16. The
ESPP participants are going to do very well, split or not, unless
the world ends.
