FORE recently went into the SP market and the revenue has already surpassed 20% within two years. SPRINT already uses FORE and many more are going to deploy. Wait and see. See this post below:
techweb.com

Here is the segment relating to FORE in the SP carrier mkt. Why only FORE got mentioned? and not CSCO and the old and slow moving STRM, any ideas? imo.

FORE around 16$ is a great buy. FORE meets the estimate, they're horing around 1000 more people. Microsoft just deply ASX4000s. FORE Berekley switches will bring in more revenue.
IMO, FORE will be back to 20$ within a few weeks if mkt consition improves. Buyout will happen anytime and will spike up often. The target price should be between 30 - 45 $.

=============
Among vendors, Fore Systems Inc. (Warrendale, Pa.) has released
equipment to introduce passivity into MANs. The company recently
introduced a two-product passive splitting package, the ASX-4000 ATM
switch outfitted with the WMX-4 four-channel wavelength-division multiplexer
module. The system can take four signals traveling at OC-48 (2.5 Gbit/s)
rates from lasers and load them onto four wavelengths of a single fiber,
bringing the total data transmission capability to 10 Gbit/s. The devices feed
MANs, and in some scenarios, the optical signals can passively reach the
customer premises, where they are converted to electrical signals. Eventually
dense wavelength-division multiplexing (DWDM) will greatly increase the
amount of splitting possible.
