Mike: Obviously we would have liked the article to say Valence had a contract with Motorola. Instead we have an unsubstantiated opinion that the American companies are far behind the Japanese. Didn't look like to me the author spent much time reviewing Valences patent portfolio. I bet there's a thing or two there that the Japanese find very frustrating.

I strongly believe Valence and Ultralife have a very different opinion on their chances of market share in Li/Poly. Is Valence and Ultralife gonna throw in the towel because a frustrated journalist couldn't pry more information out of either company including the Japanese. I bet the 270 employees in the Valence factory, have a different opinion than darkgreen. I bet the researchers, scientist, marketers and management in both companies fancy their chances of success.

Valence can use the publicity eventhough some view this as negative. If some believe Valence doesn't have the upperhand that even makes our shares more valuable when Valence finally unveils their plan.

Remember Valence is as yet an undiscovered gem. The technology will prevail and the years and years of research and protecting their proprietary trade secrets will pay off.

Don't let darkgreens psychosis and obsession interfere with your decision. You alone are responsible for your investments!
