I saw your post on the CMGI thread that you had to get out because it went off margin at your broker. E*Trade still carries it on margin - probably my other Internuts too but I would have to check.

I think E*Trade wants to keep people in the Internut trading game, so they keep allowing margin. Personally I don't think there should be any differentiation between NASDAQ stocks. If I can margin MSFT at 166, I should be able to margin CMGI at 94 without the broker trying to decide which stock is more worthwhile as an investment.

I thought we moved to online brokers to make our own decisions about stuff like that.
