Willey and Willy - unfortunately or fortunately what appears to be evolving in this bizarre course of events regarding the investigation of the President by a self-declared never-sinned group of individuals that claim as their justification protection of the constitution but are engaging in tactics which if allowed to expand would give you a form of government and legal system that you would not want. Ken Starr's tactics could be viewed in the light as the secret police of the former USSR, as his basic tactic is to indite anyone who doesn't tell his office what he wants the spin to be, and the immunity clause with Monika is basically to hold a loaded gun to her head, telling her that if she doesn't tell Starr's interrogators the spin he wants, they will pull the trigger. Whereas the secret police would take you away, Starr can only threaten imprisonment or get you into an expensive court proceeding, either of which must be very intimidating.
You would simply not want to live in this kind of society if this was allowed to expand, and eventually Starr and his tactics will be stopped as most understand what he is doing which is why he has an approval rating of less than 20% and Clinton over 76%.

>>If the Willey incident was "proven" such a hoax, why is Julie Steele indicted for obstruction of justice for lying about it? <<

That is an excellent question! Why indeed is Starr going after Steele for obstruction when she was absolutely consistent in her testimony to investigators and the grand jury. How can he indict for her 'obstruction' just because her sworn testimony wasn't what he wanted to hear? Sure she told a different story to Newsweek - but then immediately retracted it - and this long before she spoke to Starr. This is obstruction?

Even Linda Tripp's testimony shows Willey's story was a monumental scam. Willey was stalking the pres both before and AFTER the alleged groping.

And speaking of obstructing justice and lying - how about Ken Starr?

I actually didn't want to get into this cause it has absolutely nothing to do with the price of gold. But there's been so much bs posted on this subject I just thought a little balance is called for.
