Larry, want to repeat the number of cases appearing in the U.K. is over 160 new cases per week! I posted the source and the actual news yesterday.

"...there were 161 cases of meningococcal meningitis or septicaemia notified in the
week ending 8 January 1999 and 164 in week ending 15 January 1999. Most of these were isolated, sporadic cases
rather than outbreaks."

While obviously all these cases don't fall into either of the two heads of the trial mentioned by Cacaito they do indicate that a real problem exist in the winter months in the U.K. and that continuation of the trial IMO opinion made sense.

BTW, just teasing, I know it's two arms.
