Practically every transmission of data, picture, voice etc will all be WIRELESS in 20 years.
Voltaire, I agree, most of it will, but there is a hell of a problem with wireless data transmission. My son-in-law has been working on it at Qualcomm for years, and it ain't easy!

also bear in mind that dishtv just bought out primestar, and more important to aol, its satellite technology already supports digital data transmission. could on of you experts out there clue me in as to how that relates to broadband??

I'm betting you're right... but I'm looking for technologies which can make me money in the next 10 years;-) I'm sure cable (ATHM) will!
