Well, funk, I have been watching you trade in #the_final_frontier for a couple of weeks now. You scare the hell out of me most of the time but I see you winning a lot where I am only watching. I am about six months to a year behind you in experience I believe, and this is part of the difference. I certainly recognize that I exit trades too early much of the time. But that is a function of my place on the learning curve. I need to build a string of wins, even if they are small ones at times. And, I need to keep my losses extremely small for the same reason--confidence building.

The more I watch other traders work and hear about various approaches, the more I am able to adapt my own approach. I will try out another trader's techniques and maybe score some profits. That's a notch in my belt and a boost to my learning curve.

In eight months' of full time trading probably one of my biggest truisms is that I don't believe in any technique until I do it myself. If it works for me and I can analyze why it worked, it goes into my system. If it doesn't make sense or I can't make it work, it is out. I am sure every successful trader does this. Trial by fire proves out the system.

Ps. I am dedicated to L2. Everything I do with my trades is based on it.
