Mobistar in deal with Global One

BRUSSELS, Jan 21 (Reuters) - Global One, a telecommunications joint venture, on Thursday said it has
integrated the fixed and mobile services within its Global VPN (virtual private network) in Belgium in an
agreement with mobile phone operator Mobistar.

Under the agreement, Global One said Mobistar will become a strategic partner and preferred mobile
network operator for Global One customers in Belgium.

Fixed mobile integration allows customers to consider fixed and mobile telephone lines as part of a single corporate network. As a result, mobile
phones are fully integrated in a worldwide virtual private network, allowing various benefits such as dialing to mobile numbers without using a prefix.

Global One is a joint venture of Deutsche Telekom (quote from Yahoo! UK & Ireland: DTEG.F), France Telecom and Sprint (NYSE:FON - news).

France Telecom is a 51 percent shareholder in Mobistar.
