(Nasdaq:ACEI) today announced a licensing agreement with Timeless Toys of Foster City, Calif., for its children's television show "Adventures with Kanga Roddy." Timeless Toys is planning a major launch of a specialty market, high quality plush line based on characters in "Adventures with Kanga Roddy." The toy line will feature the leading character of the series, Kanga Roddy, a golden-colored martial arts marsupial, and the supporting cast of Shakespeare, a wacky and loveable bookworm, Tackle Bear, Kanga Roddy's dancing sidekick and Kimmi and Cimmi, the feline sisters. The entertaining and educational children's show is currently featured on public television stations in 31 markets across the country. The full Kanga Roddy line will be on display at the Javitts Center during Toy Fair in February. The Timeless Toys Kanga Roddy line will consist of bean bags, plush key chains, hand puppets, musical plush and regular plush. Special accessories for the characters will give the product lines added value. All of the products will be made to the exacting quality and safety standards that Harry Nizamian, CEO of Timeless Toys, pioneered during his long tenure as CEO of Dakin, Inc. Timeless Toys specializes in high quality plush toys, hand puppets and educational wooden toys and markets them to the specialty toy and gift markets. Nizamian, who refers to himself as the "father of Garfield," was responsible for creating and marketing the infamous "hanging Garfield" plush doll onto automobile windows across America.
